My paintings show a powerful preoccupation with the existential dilemma of the human being:
freedom and the fear of freedom.

With oil paint, acrylic paint or mixed techniques, I look for the colourful, free interpretation of the inner world of emotions and feelings, of authenticity, a fear of live, hope and sometimes desperation.The mood of my passions has to be perceptible in the painting and accordingly I am willing to respect and accept the language of the painting that arises. Because I explore the world with an open mind, I am actually out of control until I feel, I get hold of the intensity of the thread of life. It is not until then that I am taking control again and decide that the painting is ready.
